Even though I am a photographer I often forget to stop and shoot "in the now." Last year, I spent a lot of time working on my business and updating my website. This year, I want to be more present in my life, shooting what's happening around me.

Their love was so bright and open as they shared the vows they wrote themselves; it brought an intimacy and closeness that made an already sunny day seem even sunnier. Bree, the bride, made the whole day simple by purchasing literally every decor item from Offer Up and with her mom helping her prep the make your own sandwich buffet. With food and dancing and family and friends, a perfect day.

there are the days when you think you'll never hold that baby in your arms, never see the realization of a dream and then overnight it seems like you are there, holding that baby, not sleeping, covered in spit up, wishing for a shower.
every baby has a story, every family has a story. each puzzle piece comes together and though it means dark days and days full of light, its all adds up to a beautiful story.
